Tattoos Make Stretch Marks Look Better

tattoo scarsTattoos to heal scarred look

article from IBN LIve

Mumbai: No special oils or anti-stretch mark creams here. Nope, this is not a cool way to erase the marks left from last year’s crash dieting. This is about smart cover-ups and hot body art with scar tattoos. Yes, tattoos that will hide physical flaws and even help create that perfect look.

Olly Alva, Consultant at Al’s Tattoo and Body Piercing Studio, Mumbai, confirms that scar tattooing is very common. "On a weekly basis, I get as many as 20 to 30 people who ask for tattoos to cover scars," he says.

Scar tattooing is often done by people in glamorous professions. From models and item girls to actors and DJs, a wide variety of celebrities go in for scar tattooing. But this doesn’t exclude regular people.

How much can you hide?

If you are wondering, "What kind of scars ‘flaws’ can tattooing hide?" , we suggest you to just allow Olly to demonstrate.

"One of our clients was a dancer. She had a nasty cracker burn on her thigh and was unable to wear short skirts. This was a huge problem for her professionally. She had to wear skimpy clothing while performing in films. So we simply tattooed over the burn."

"A soldier from Kargil wanted to cover up a bullet wound. We had a cobweb tattooed over it."

"Another actor comes in on a regular basis for temporary tattoos. He does it to cover a surgical scar on his back."

"Several female celebrities come to us to hide the scars of tummy tucks, liposuction and other cosmetic surgeries."

Breast cancer patients who have had to undergo a mastectomy have sought relief by getting a tattoo of a nipple.

If you are worried that your scar is too big to camouflage, don’t be. All you need is a saucy distraction. The idea is to feel good about yourself. After they see that dainty butterfly flitting around your navel, no one is going to remember the ugly scar.

Not only body art

Scars are not the only physical flaws that tattooing hides. You can also use tattoos to camouflage white patches and other skin blemishes. And let’s not forget those bumpy stretch marks from your pregnancy.

Tattooing is also used in case of body reconstruction. It is very common for burn victims to have their eyebrows tattooed on.

Female Tattoos – Tattoo Designs

Posted in Body by admin on April 18, 2009 No Comments yet

Popular Female Tattoos – Popular Tattoo Ideas Women Want

Tattoos are becoming more popular within the female culture. Here are some popular designs you might consider.

Until recently, tattooed women were heavily stereotyped and there was also a bit of social stigma attached to them. It was left unsaid but commonly understood that only criminals, prostitutes, or homosexual women got tattoos. That image is now changing fast with tattooed women being accepted as part of mainstream culture. Women have always been more style and fashion conscious than man and it is only natural that even in the field of tattoos they are very particular about the design and the body part where the tattoo will be displayed. Men tend to be quick and bold about their tattoo choice but women like to take time and ponder carefully before making a decision. The balance is shifting rapidly with more and more tattoo artists claiming that a majority of their clientele now comprises of women.

The same tattoo artists are also saying that women are better equipped for the process of tattooing and they handle the pain much better than men. Men approach the tattooing process with the belief that they are tough enough to handle the pain but quite a few of them pass out when the needle begins to do its work. Women tend to anticipate the pain much better and this apparently increases their tolerance towards it. Feminine tattoo designs tend to be less aggressive and go for the delicate look saying it with flowers, butterflies, angels, and so on. Their preferred tattoo areas are the lower back and tail end. Women also tend to mix western and eastern tattoo designs much better than men. The ever increasing demand for newer tattoo designs by women has also lead to a sort of revolution for the tattoo artists as they are now looking across cultures to find the right look that women are demanding year after year.

Even today the most preferred form of tattoo is to engrave the benefactor’s or sweetheart’s name on the body. Sometimes tattoos are also used to cover up scars and other permanent blemishes. The most commonly used tattoos besides the above include angels, butterflies, Celtic, cross, dragons, fairies, flowers, henna, lower back, and tribal tattoos. There is a large number of Christian symbols that are also being used as tattoo images though nothing comes close to the popularity of the cross. Other popular designs include zodiac symbols and other celestial bodies such as the sun or the moon. Then there are symbols of good look from many cultures across the world that are also quite popular. The Hibiscus flower is perhaps the most commonly used in flower based designs for tattoos.

Whereas women always went in for delicate and minimalist tattoos they are slowly beginning to choose larger and aggressive tattoo designs. Popular female tattoos are getting more and more experimental every day with women going in for all sorts of combinations that were previously considered a serious no-no. Female tattoos also tend to be on the sexier side and are placed on the body in order to accentuate the feminine charms.

Tattoo Care

Got a new tattoo or planning to get one? Read this article for useful tips and suggestions about tattoo care…

Tattoo Care

Getting a tattoo might have been on you ‘to-do’ list for a long time, but if you’ve finally decided to do it once and for all then there are a few things, which you should know. Adequate safety precautions and maintenance steps are a must before and after you get a tattoo. Here is a list of things to do and things to avoid before and after a tattoo.

Tattoo Care: Things to Remember Before You Get a Tattoo

First of all, be really sure whether you are ready to get a tattoo. Some countries has a set age limit for a person to be eligible to get a tattoo, so make sure you are eligible and are legally allowed to indulge in tattooing.

Secondly make sure that you visit a credible tattoo artist who owns a legal, safe and clean workplace. Remember that infected needles can be more harmful than you think. You don’t want to end up with an infection.

Ensure the tattoo artist is using sterilized and clean needles for every client. In addition to this, you should never get a tattoo if you are sick or not feeling well. Ensure that you’ve had sufficient food and taken some rest before you get a tattoo.

Getting tattooed on an empty stomach, or under the influence of painkillers, alcohol or drugs can have adverse side effects like nausea, increased bleeding and dizziness.

Tattoo Care: Things to Remember After You Get a Tattoo

tattoo aftercare

Well now that you finally took the plunge and got your tattoo, it is time to take sufficient care of that tattoo so that no further harm is caused. A tattoo is after all an open wound, which means you flesh is exposed to open air, which contains lots of infectious bacteria.

The tattoo artists put a bandage on the tattoo to protect it from and airborne or any other infections and advise you to leave the bandage on for a minimum of 2-4 hours, which should be followed sincerely. Try and avoid tattoo artists who provide the plastic bandage for the tattoos since this is a very unhealthy practice.

After the set time limit you need to wash the tattoo. Wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and consult your tattoo artist about the type of anti-bacterial soap, which can be used to clean the tattooed area. Do not use any ointments and creams without prescription. Trust the experts and use recommended products only. After the nascent stage, you can use any regular ointment for your skin however you need to avoid ointments and cream, which have added dyes and fragrances.

Many people are not sure whether they can shower, bathe, or go swimming after getting a tattoo. The answer is avoiding swimming and hot tub activities for at least 2-3 weeks after getting a tattoo. A swimming pool might be the source of many bacterial infections, which can infect your tattoo. A shower is fine though.

The important part is preventing the soaking of the tattoo in water. As for the scabs that will develop once the wound starts healing, remember that no matter what you do, don’t try and scratch the scabs or apply any ointment to it. It will come off on its own, so do not ruin the tattoo by scratching it .

In addition to this, make sure that you do not expose your tattoo to any harmful chemicals and even harsh sunlight. Take care of your tattoo in order to keep it healthy, clean and beautiful. Remember that getting a tattoo and flaunting might be fun, but only and only if you are ready to take care of the tattoo and follow all the necessary precautions.

Tattoo Ink Removal

Posted in Body by admin on April 3, 2009 No Comments yet

You like them one minute but have to get rid of them the next. But how? It’s a tattoo. They’re meant to last forever. In a recent article from www.examiner.com  discusses the ways to remove a tattoo you no longer want in your life or stamped on your body, or maybe you just need the real estate for a new tattoo.

Maybe your tattoo taste has moved on from butterflies to Asian dragons or Japanese symbols.

Tattoo removal: How Angelina did it, or maybe it’s just time to make a change

March 18, 10:21 AM ·

Billy Bob-less

Brad’s in, Billy Bob’s way out.  What’s a girl to do when the last love of your life is tattood on your arm, but you’ve traded up, moved on, or just gotten bored? Laser surgery may just be the answer you’ve been looking for.  It worked for Angie!

A common problem with tattoos is dissatisfaction.  You may decide that the tattoo no longer fits your current image or that the once-stylish design has become dated. Some tattoos fade. If the tattoo artist injects the color too deeply into your skin, the dye can drift — causing a blurred design. Maybe you have left your last love whose name was "Fabio" and now you’re with "Mike", who doesn’t like to see a previous partner’s name every time he looks at you. Or maybe you’ve decided to go into a line of work where the letters "DEATH" don’t look good on your knuckles, especially if you want to go to medical school.

Well, now that’s a problem because tattoos are meant to be permanent, so their complete removal is difficult. Several removal techniques exist, but regardless of the method used, scarring and skin color variations may remain.

Methods include:

* Laser surgery. This is the most common way to reduce the appearance of a tattoo. Pulses of laser light pass through the top layer of skin where the light’s energy is absorbed by the tattoo pigment. This process creates a very low grade inflammation and allows your body to process the small areas of altered pigment. You may require many treatments to lighten the tattoo, and the treatment might not completely erase it.  This was Angelina’s method of choice, which worked pretty well as you can see.
* Dermabrasion. The tattoo area is chilled until numb, and the skin that contains the tattoo is sanded down to deeper levels. This generally isn’t painful, but it may leave a scar.
* Surgical removal. A doctor can surgically cut out the tattoo and stitch the edges back together, but this can leave a scar.

Do not use do-it-yourself tattoo removal creams or products sold online. They aren’t FDA-approved and may cause skin reactions. If you’re interested in tattoo removal, don’t attempt it on your own. Ask your dermatologist about laser surgery or other options for tattoo removal but leave the scrub brush alone.

Tattoo After Care Could Save Your Life

Posted in Body by admin on April 1, 2009 1 Comment

This recent story in TheStar.com by  Mike Funston shows how careful you must be when getting your tattoo. Don’t be a horror story or a victim. Tattoo aftercare is one thing you definitely should consider but before that choose your tattoo artist very carefully so your after care is simple and easy.

Peel Region and Tattoo Shop Sued for $20M

Notice of action claims local health officials failed to warn the public about potential HIV risk

Mar 19, 2009 04:30 AM

MUNICIPAL AFFAIRS REPORTER

A $20 million lawsuit has been slapped on Peel Region and the owners of a Mississauga tattoo shop after lax recording of sterilization procedures raised the possibility that 3,000 patrons could have been exposed to hepatitis B and C or HIV.

A notice of action has been filed in Superior Court of Justice in Toronto to start the lawsuit, lawyer Todd McCarthy said yesterday.

"It’s our intention to move to have it certified as a class proceeding and assert claims on behalf of all those who were affected directly or indirectly by exposure to the health risk," he said. "We’ve had hundreds of people come forward to become members of the class (action)."

Peel health officials, while noting the risk of infection was low, recently advised customers who received tattoos or body piercings from Moonshin Tattoo between March 2005 and February 2009 to get blood tests because the operators failed to keep adequate records on sterilization equipment.

Public health authorities are required to inspect at least once a year personal services shops, such as tattoo and piercing studios, barbershops and others where there is a risk of exposure to blood.

The suit alleges that Peel health officials failed in their duty to warn the public of any potential health risk. Peel maintains it doesn’t have enough inspectors and blames the lack of provincial funding.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.

Peel’s associate medical officer of health, Dr. Eileen de Villa, earlier acknowledged that Moonshin, which is located on Dundas St. W. near Hurontario St., was inspected only twice: shortly after it opened in 2005 and again last month. Peel’s medical officer of health, Dr. David Mowat, wouldn’t comment on the lawsuit yesterday, but said he wasn’t aware of any cases of serious illness among the 3,000 customers.

Proper Tattoo Aftercare

Posted in Body by admin on March 26, 2009 1 Comment

Tattoo Aftercare – Proper Care of a New Tattoo

Tattoo aftercare is one of the most important things you need to consider after you have got a beautiful tattoo done on yourself. Here are some ways for proper care of a new tattoo.

Tattoo Aftercare

So your impulsive behavior got the better of you and you finally got that cool tattoo done on yourself this New Year.

Well, I know you can’t really blame yourself, that design was awesome and it would really look ultra fabulous with the sequined halter you purchased. But, sporting a new tattoo may not always be an easy affair.

Once you have a new tattoo embedded into your skin, you also need to ensure proper care of the new tattoo. Tattoo aftercare is often forgotten in the initial euphoria of getting a tattoo done.

Proper care of a new tattoo begins the moment you have engraved it upon your skin. Agreed, this is a work of art and it needs to be showcased to your friends, but tattoo care can help you in the long run and visibility of the permanent tattoo.

Tips on Tattoo Aftercare:

  • Always listen to what the tattoo artist has to say. Most tattoo artists have their own set of instructions about the dos and don’ts of tattoo aftercare.
  • Ensure you follow this routine even if you find it difficult to maintain it everyday. Sometimes, you may need to have the area bandaged to prevent it from being infected. Always stick to the instructions suggested by the tattoo artist in this case.

  • Ensure you keep the area bandaged for at least 2 hours once the tattoo is done. Every person has a different texture of the skin and sensitivity factors so make sure you consult with the tattoo artist about this point. Never reuse any bandage.
  • Once the bandage is off, wash your new tattoo under running water and use a gentle soap. Use your fingers to gently wash off the surface of the skin.
  • Pat the area dry with the help of a clean paper towel. Avoid cloth as it may harbor certain bacteria and cause some reaction with skin.
  • Consult your tattoo artist to know which cream would work the best for you. This will help skin to heal faster. Apply a thin layer of the cream and use it at least for 2 days. This will keep the area moisturized and it will also act as an effective disinfectant.
  • Keep a check for two days and by the third day, you can switch to a light lotion. Look in the market for specific tattoo aftercare lotions that would be mild and without all the perfumes and additives. This will help to keep the area moist.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun in the first week. After a few weeks, your tattoo will definitely need loads of light and air but overexposure to the sun may not really be good for the tattoo. The UV rays can cause the tattoo to fade at a faster rate. Later on, you can go in for a good quality sunblock.
  • It is definitely fine to shower with a new tattoo. Tattoo aftercare in this case would be necessary when it comes to having a luxurious bath in the tub. This should be definitely avoided as soaking a tattoo for longer hours in the water does not exactly prove to be a good idea. You may even have to avoid a good swim for the initial weeks.
  • The skin in that area may also peel off after a few weeks. This is normal and would happen because the skin has heeled. In such cases, do not touch that particular area of the skin. This is the time when your tattoo is healing, so simply avoid touching it fretting about it.
  • Always try to wear loose fitting clothes. This would help prevent the constant rubbing of the cloth against the skin and also help the tattoo to heal faster.
  • In case of specific allergic reactions, you may need to consult the doctor immediately. This can happen because of the inks used or the skin may have reacted in a different way to the cream that is being used. Sometimes, you may require a change in the cosmetics or creams. In such cases, the doctor would be able to guide you which step you need to take with regards to tattoo aftercare.
  • In case of swelling, use ice packs on the area. This will help to soothe the inflamed skin.

Follow these simple steps and sport your new tattoo without all the hassles. Tattoo aftercare is very important if you want your skin and the tattoo looking its best, in the long run.

Tattoo Removal; Gangs, Ditched Lovers and Obama

Tattoo Removal

The Cost Of A Worn Out Idea, Lover or Gang Membership

"Its either get rid of the tattoo or stay on the job". Damn that boss for giving you an ultimatum that’s had you looking at tattoo removal. Here is some information to help you along the way.

Tattoo RemovalAfter the pain you endured to get that beautiful tattoo on your leg, the one that wraps itself around your ankle and moves upward to your calf. Now you have this job to-die for and they do not encourage body art!

Your only option is to get rid of this form of self-expression and rebellion! Yes, you need to remove your tattoo…!

Those two words you wish you never had to focus on…Tattoo Removal!

Tattoos are gaining so much popularity in the world over, and are now seen all cultures, be it western or eastern.

Did you know more than ten million Americans have at least one tattoo on their body and that there are more that 4000 thriving tattoo studios all across the country, bringing to life people’s fantasies in color on the skin.

But on the flip side is the thriving industry of tattoo removal, its has been found that more than 50 percent of the people who have tattoos regret them later on and go to surgeons for tattoo removal. Earlier the method of tattoo removal was as painful of getting one done, but these days with the advancement of technology it is a fairly simple and painless procedure.

Before we leap forward into the world of tattoo removal, lets get a glimpse at what a tattoo is. A tattoo is a permanent design that has been made into the dermal layer of the skin using pigments and requires rupturing of the top layer of the skin. These days tattoo artists and studios use electric tattoo machines that make the design in the skin.

Now the question to arise is are all tattoos removable?

We have understood that tattoos are permanents, so removing a tattoo completely is going to be difficult and most often surgeons warn people that the whole tattoo isn’t going to come out. There are chances that traces of the tattoo will be left behind but this depends on the size, color and area on which the tattoo is located.

Methods for Tattoo Removal
While talking about these methods of tattoo removal, we are not talking about laser tattoo removal. These are the more primitive methods of tattoo removal, though not hugely popular, they are used.

  1. Dermabrasion – this is a method that sands off the top layers and middle layers of the skin where the tattoo is.
  2. Cryosurgery – this is a method that freezes the are where the tattoo is and then the tattoo is surgically removed. This method is very rarely used.
  3. Excision – this is a more popular method in case laser tattoo removal isn’t possible. This is a method where the surgeon uses a scalpel to remove the tattoo and stitches the wound. There are cases where this method may require skin grafting.

Laser Tattoo Removal
Laser or Light Amplification by the Stimulated Emission of Radiation is the most common method by which modern day tattoos are removed.

The laser tattoo removal method doesn’t require a stay in the hospital and in most cases doesn’t even need anesthesia. The laser produces short pulses on intense light that passes quite harmlessly through the layer of the skin and is absorbed by the tattoo.

The laser energy works in breaking up the pigments in the tattoo into tiny fragments, which are then discarded by the body’s natural immune system.

Interestingly removing a tattoo is more expensive that getting a tattoo! Ironically isn’t it how expensive your youthful rebellion and exuberance can cost!

Cool And Sexy Thigh And Leg Tattoo Designs

Posted in Body by admin on March 6, 2009 1 Comment

thigh, leg, body tattoo

When it comes to picking a thigh tattoo, or leg tattoos that you want, there are little tips that you need to be aware of. Without this knowledge, over 85% of guys and gals will continue bumping into outdated websites that post only the most generic, cookie cutter artwork.

Here’s the real deal on locating fresh, original thigh tattoo designs and quality drawn leg tattoos.

If you didn’t get the hint, everything revolves around how you start "searching" for artwork.

Most will do it the wrong way, which leads so many people into an alternative world of generic junk thrown everywhere.

If you do it the right way, you’ll surely be rewarded with the websites that really do like to post the most amazing artwork and never plaster their database with cookie cutter stuff. It all depends on how comfortable you are with getting a generic thigh tattoo, or some cookie cutter leg tattoos.

So many people regret getting inked with generic artwork, so I assume you want to find good, fresh, quality artwork. Here’s how you do it.

girl leg tattoo

First, you need to forget about using search engines. Stay away from them like they have the plague.

In fact, this is the number one reason why people get led straight to the generic laced galleries. It’s the main factor by a wide margin.

Only use them if you want to see one generic thigh tattoo collection after another and tons of generic leg tattoos.

Next, you will need an alternative way to look for good artwork. I know just the tool to use. You need to use forums.

Large forums to be exact. Not only will you finally be able to see what "real" thigh tattoo designs look like, and "real" leg tattoos look like, but you will also be able to locate the hidden galleries that have them.

The way you do this is by stepping inside of the archive section of any large forum you come across.

Most will have gigantic archives, which always have loads of past topics on various tattoo subjects. These archives are golden, because the topics are loads with inside info, such as the websites where other people have uncovered truly amazing artwork.

All it takes is a little bit of reading and browsing, which is nothing compared to the time you’d be wasting with search engines. Like I said, if this is too much for you, search engines wile always be there to give you generic thigh tattoo design sand cookie cutter leg tattoos. It’s that simple.

There are so many original thigh tattoo designs you’re missing out on, but there are also loads of generic leg tattoos that you shouldn’t even waste your time looking at.

Posted in Body by admin on February 24, 2009 2 Comments

sexy butterfly back tattooHey girls are you looking for some sexy tattoo design? Maybe you are looking for something but just not willing to go with the tramp stamp I mean lower back tattoo?

If that describes you then don’t worry there are a ton of other very sexy places to get a tattoo and you don’t have to follow the crowd and do what so many other women have done before you. Cute and sexy tattoo designs for females can be created, designs and tattooed easily.

Sexiest Places To Tattoo

Well the list of course is somewhat individual as everyone has their own impression of what sexy is of course. There is the infamous tramp stamp and for a long time it was very sexy. In fact it is still sexy to some degree but unfortunately it is a little over done now. Come on we are no longer in the ’90’s anymore. So for sexy places to get tattoos for women are.

Back of Neck – The nape of the neck or back of the neck is thought to be a very sexy area of the women’s body and in many cultures a very sensual spot. Just think of the Geisha in Japan that used to use white makeup on their face and neck. However, they would leave streaks of skin showing through the back of the neck to be provocative. This sounds a little strange to us in today’s culture and with current clothing trends. However there has always been something very sexy about the back of the neck.

Upper back – Of course very closely related to the back of the neck an upper back tattoo is also very sexy. It is a great location for a tattoo as it can easily be covered up with a regular tee shirt but revealed whenever one so desires. Also it provides a pretty big canvas so the tattoo can be intricate and very beautiful.

Hips - Well do I really need to say more about this area? The hips have been thought of as very sexy places for centuries. The hips are much more modern then the lower back tattoo and it is just as sexy. You can choose to get something small on both hips or just one tattoo on one side either way you end up with a sexy tattoo design.

Ankles – A women’s ankles are a very sexy part of the body also and can only accentuate a beautiful pair of shoes and feet. Ankle tattoo have been around for a long time but are still a very current trend and look very hot!

Wrist – This is a popular place to get a tattoo also. Especially for women who love to wear bracelets a wrist tattoo can be a wonderful addition. One word of warning though it can be difficult to cover up if that matter for you professionally.

Thigh – The thigh is another very sexy place. It is very easy to cover up and most of the time can be covered up with pretty average clothing sizes. Thus the secret of a thigh tattoo means there is a certain amount of intimacy before a person reveals their thigh tattoo and of course being let in on a secret like that is sexy in itself.

side tattoo

Side – Another very popular tattoo that can also look very sexy and is very easy to cover up when she needs to is a side tattoo. Women frequently get a saying going up their sides but you could also do a cherry blossom tree, a dragon or whatever you want that is long and rectangular.

Wrist Tattoos

sanskrit tattoo Pros And Cons Of Wrist Tattoos

Wrist tattoos, like all other tattoos go back thousands years ago. A few hundred years ago sailors were the first to have star wrist tattoos. Many sailors were superstitious and the nautical star on their wrist symbolized the North star which was meant to guide them on their journeys and to find the way home.

Later on the star wrist tattoo symbolism evolved into a metaphor for finding your way in life. In the 50’s and 60’s of the previous century wrist tattoos were a way of expressing someone was gay or lesbian. Nowadays the wrist tattoo has become mainstream. There is no link any more to being gay or lesbian.

At present wrist tattoos come in all kinds of types. Stars, tribal bands, hearts, butterflies, letters or words in all kinds of languages like Sanskrit, Hebrew, Arabic and so on. The wrist is a cool place to get a tattoo on. Your tattoo will be more in sight than the average tattoo on an upper arm or leg. Because of the location it is important to be absolutely sure about your decision. Below are a few things to keep in mind when deciding to get your wrist inked.

Why the wrist is a cool place to get a tattoo on:
You can easily hide your tattoo by wearing a bracelet or watch. (or long sleeves)
They are in plain sight most of the time so you can show them very easy. This way your wrist tattoo is a means to express yourself with a particular design that fits your personality.
They usually are cheaper to get because they are smaller.
The wrist is an ideal area for a small tattoo. Most other locations on the body demand larger tattoos.
Your tattoo will give you much joy because you can look at it all the time. This is why words like a mantra or motto are great ideas for wrist tattoos. Your inked wrist will inspire you or remind you of something important in your life constantly.

Things to keep in mind when having a wrist tattoo:

They might fade away sooner because the wrist area is liable to influences like the weather. So after a period of time touch ups might be necessary.
It seems getting a tattoo on your wrist is a little more painful then on most other body parts. The skin is close to the bone on the inside of the arm and the wrist tissue isn’t very dense. So in theory getting tattooed on the wrist will be more painful. In fact many people say the pain was the same or even less so it’s just personal.
Because the wrist area is used and exposed a lot the healing of a wrist tattoo will probably take a little longer.
In some situations you’ll need to hide your tattoo, for example when applying for a job.
